Banana Flax Protein Smoothie

The nutritional benefits of ground flaxseed (also sometimes known as linseed)--which include high levels of dietary fiber, vitamin C and B6 and iron, and plant-based protein combine with the power of 100% Cricket Protein Powder to turn this delicious smoothie into Super Human Fuel!  


 1/2 banana

8-10 ounces milk of your choice

1 Tablespoon ground flax seed

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 Tablespoon 100% Cricket Protein Powder



Blend all ingredients and enjoy! You may want to alter the amount of milk that you add depending on how thick you prefer your smoothie.  You can also add the whole banana for a sweeter taste.
